Building was required to remain in operation, occupied, during reroofing.
Existing ballasted 0.040 EPDM roofing was failing ,in several locations in roofing and base flashings, overall several roof deck types (precast concrete, poured gypsum, and cementitious wood fiber decks).
Replacement roofing system was comprised of a fully adheared 0.060 EPDM, over tapered polyisocyanurate insulation, with vapor barrier on existing roof decks. Pre-finished, 0.040” aluminum gravel stops and copings were provided
A 15 year system warranty was obtained for this project The architects point rating from Capital Development Board for this project was 100 out of 100.
